About Me

My name is Sabina and I am a freelance seamstress living and working in Bristol, UK. I provide a repairs and alteration service as well as making bespoke clothing.
I grew up in Sweden where I learnt how to work with different textiles, printing and weaving from an early age. I've always had a love for sewing and in my teens I started out by making my own dresses for special occasions later moving on to sewing for friends and family. Now I provide bespoke clothing to costumers with different lots of different styles and body shape.
I've gained my experience as a dressmaker from working as a sample seamstress for a menswear designer in Sweden, doing alterations in a bridal couture studio in Bristol as well as sewing for an Italian tailor company in Bath.
I still love trying out new techniques and working with different materials, experimenting and growing as a seamstress through making my own clothes wherever I can find the time.

I teach sewing to children and adult beginner sewers at my favourite Bristol fabric shop Flo-Jo Fabrics, please see Flo-Jo's website for my upcoming workshops and weekly classes.
